Combat programs are swiftly-constructed weapons affixed to and powered by one's own body, attached to nodal clusters on the creature's body. Both normal transmuters and transcendent subvariants possess these nodal clusters, which are mounted on the body and head, or what passes for them, for 10 such clusters total. Each node can hold a single technique, its power scaling with the size of the transmuter's body. Thus, larger organisms can use more powerful weapons. Fortunately, if a creature already possessing an N-core obtains a larger-sized body, the combat programs it already knows will scale appropriately.
